Israel wins the Nexofil Prize and Austria the Nexonum Prize,
In the III Gala to the Best Seals and Coins of the World 2016
The Royal Mint (RCM-FNMT) hosted the solemn International Nexofil & Nexonum Awards Gala for the third consecutive year on October 28 for the World's Best Seals and Coins of 2015, on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of The Magazine "THE ECO Philatelic and Numismatic", organized by Grupo NEXO. Official representatives of the Post and Award Ceremony received their awards (and the accreditation of use of the "Best Stamp of the World" and "The Best Coin of the World" marks) in a multiplicity of ceremonies led by the Director of EL ECO and Advisory Council of the NEXO Group.
The Third International Gala of the Nexofil and Nexonum 2016 Awards was presided over by the Undersecretary of Public Works of the Government of Spain, Mario Garcés, the President of the Real Casa de la Moneda (RCM-FNMT), Jaime Sánchez Revenga; The Deputy Director General of Postal Regime, Rafael Crespo; The Director of Post Office Philately, Modesto Fraguas; The President of the Royal Hispanic Academy of Philately and Postal History (RAHFeHP), Jesús Sitjà, and the Vice President of the Spanish Federation of Philatelic Societies (FESOFI), José Pedro Gómez-Agüero.

The Prizes were awarded by an independent International Jury, made up of leaders of National and Academic Federations from more than 20 Countries, including the Presidents of large Federations of collectors of America and Europe, as well as distinguished Academic members of the prestigious Academies European and Hispanic Philatelic.

The Presidency, formed by Modesto Fragüas, Director of Post Office Philately; Jesús Sitjà, President of the Royal Hispanic Academy of Philately and Postal History; Javier Cuesta, President of Correos; Eugenio de Quesada, President of the Organizing Committee; Mario Garcés, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Development; Ángel Nieto, Director of the Ring of the Real Casa de la Moneda; Rafael Crespo, Deputy Director General of Postal Regime; And José Pedro Gómez-Agüero, Vice President of the Spanish Federation of Philatelic Societies.
